Let me introduce myself...
I have spent much of the recent past joyously exploring my idea of “Home” in as many colors of acrylics and oils as possible. My inspiration includes the collection of objects I have chosen to surround myself with, as well as the Colorado Springs cityscape, and my family history. For me, painting is the vehicle to most thoroughly and consciously engage with the universe. Like lucid dreaming, through art I reframe my relationship with the world. Painting allows me to communicate that new relationship with the viewer. I have been making art since the Mr. Sketch black marker smelled of licorice, and took art classes in high school and college.
